So we built two brands to fix it — Vibe for people who want the best one made, C3 Tech for everywhere else in the house. Same testing. Same two-year warranty. No exceptions.
Everyone has a drawer full of dead cables.
Ours was full too. Frayed at the connector, split down the jacket, or just quietly stopped charging one morning with no warning. Every one of them had been bought to replace the last one that did exactly the same thing.
That is the part that bothered us. Not that cheap accessories exist — but that people were buying the same thing three and four times a year and quietly accepting it as normal. A charging cable is not a consumable. It should not be something you re-buy every few months.
We didn’t want to sell more cables. We wanted to sell fewer, better ones.
So we stopped stocking whatever was cheapest and started specifying our own. Braided jackets instead of bare PVC. Reinforced strain relief where cables actually fail. Apple-authenticated chips on every Lightning product, so nothing throws a warning message or quietly damages a charging port. GaN internals in the chargers, which run cooler and last longer than the old silicon ones.
None of that is exotic. It is just what you get when the goal is a product that lasts two years of real use — not two months. That is the whole idea behind Vibe Centre.

Every product on this site — Vibe or C3 Tech, £3 or £30 — carries a two-year warranty. Not a select range. Not the premium tier only. If it fails within two years and it is our fault, we replace it.
Certified, not compatible
Our Lightning products carry genuine Apple MFi authentication. It costs more to do and it is the reason they keep working after an iOS update instead of throwing an accessory-not-supported warning six weeks in.
Two brands, one standard
C3 Tech costs less than Vibe because of materials and power output — not because we tested it less or warrantied it for shorter. The budget option is still an option we would put in our own car.
